I love to over-react; it's what I do best. It's quick, simple and easy. Who needs sound decision making and clarity? not me. I think when you're pissed, it's good to do some stupid shit and let someone else pay for it. It's never stopped me before, unless that someone else was me. I have half a mind to go out on a limb and tell each and every one of you exactly what I think of you, but I won't. Reparations can only go so far, so ambiguity shall suffice for now. I think you've screwed it up for a lot of people. Why play on the back foot? why not confront it--confront me? Why don't I confront you? becuase you'll hurt me again.

So what say you? talk, or no?

eloquent in its brevity.

Comments:
I remember there was Archie comic about Veronica getting angry and spazzing at everyone. When Betty and Archie confront her about it, she says that her doctor said that letting out your anger and throwing tantrusm is healthy and people should do it. Reggie confirms this by spazzing at Archie and then claiming that it felt great and that he could sleep like a baby.

Eventually, Ms. Grundy overhears this and agrees that 3/5 doctors advocate this form of therapy.

As Veronica is walking away, Betty asks Ms. Grundy, "What do the other 2 doctors recommend, Ms. Grundy?"

"Growing up," smiles Ms. Grundy.

Does anyone else find it ironic that Reuben used an Archie comic reference in order to emphasize "growing up"? I found that rather humourous...

A lot of people confuse "growing up" with "keeping it in". Nothing specifies on how to grow up or what really defines "growing up", per se. I guess we won't be having that talk.

I see a correlation between "growing up" and "tactfulness". Usually, when you "grow up", you learn how to say things to people, truthful things, in such a way as to not upset them. 'Tis what keeps society from crumbling, imo.

Don't know if this fits w/ the whole archie theme, but just thought I'd throw it out there...

I agree with Nits. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with just letting it out when you're pissed because it IS a good thing to let it out instead of keeping it all bottled inside you. However, one has to think of the situation in which they're unleashing their rage. The consequences of your actions could come around and bite you in the ass. Ie. You get mad at your boss and you flip out so he fires you.

I actually just wanted to post: How's Songha doing? Or did you find a name for him yet? Hope he's doing good.

he's doing fine. He bites and scratches a lot, though.
