great day

Well today kicked ass. I rather enjoyed the majority of aspects that today brought and I can honestly say, it feels pretty good. Firstly, I passed all of my courses. There was really only one course that I was afraid of, and I got through that one with a 59, after getting 76 on the final. Most of my hockey predictions came true and all of my players advanced through to the 2nd round, which, apparently, is a record within the current contingent of poolies. I feel good. All in all, I get to spend my vacation enjoying myself instead of grieving like a madcap.

WOOHOO!

So I am at work right now--once again--not actually doing my work. I am finding ways to slack off and get paid and I've been quite successful for the past 3 months doing precisely that on over 80% of my shifts. I am just waiting in the CPU lab while my mini laptop charges up, then I will go to my car and watch movies till my shift ends...or until my battery runs out, at which point, I will simply charge it up again and repeat the process. I also need to jerk off, but I'll do that later on. I've learned one valuable lesson while at SFU; whenever you need to take a huge dump, always use the women's bathroom. It's hella clean and the fact that you're not supposed to be in there makes the shit-sensation even more awesome. Infact, I think I'll go and use one right now.

I don't know what it was about this semester, but I couldn't have been more apathetic in my entire life. I just didn't (or didn't want to) care. It's like psychologically I'd already graduated a few semesters back, but physically and academically, I was rotting away in the cesspool of human waste I like to call SFU. I wrote a final a couple days back, for a course that I was literally on the border line with, and I nailed it. Ever since then, not only have I not been worried about my final 2 exams, but I just don't care in general. I've just been playing games, playing cricket and jacking-off. It's tough to beat-off when you're stressed. Your mind is constantly engaged with some other sporadic, and your concentration is simply ass (no pun intended). I just want it all to end, and in less than 2 days time, it most definitely shall. Then of course, I have one more semester, though that will be much easier since I'll only have 2 courses (one being an elective) and the other with an awesome kin prof of mine, so I think I'll be okay.

That ends this post.

When women cry

Now before I go on and post away, I want to make it clear that I am targeting nobody specifically nor am I trying to be derogatory to anyone.

I was just in the computer lab about an hour ago (now I am in a different one) and I was just talking with my friend who is, for lack of better words, fucked. She's essentially got one of the hardest exams of an extremely difficult course in kines and judging by how much she knows, she'll most likely fail--and she knows it. Now I've been in this position before and I almost was in that position for the same course when I took it a year ago, but I studied for a week straight and nearly aced the exam. That, however, isn't the point. The point is, while she was telling me about her fear of failing, she started to cry. I know others that do this, though never in front of me, because for some reason, women never cry in front of me. I don't know why that is and I don't want any inferences on it either. The point is, I've never cried due to academic fears. Then again, with how shitty my grades are, I'd have to cry myself the Atlantic Ocean for it to have any real significance. I am just curious though. Is it a hormonal difference (imbalance?) with respect to both genders, or is it some other innate reason? Again, this isn't a judgment call on character, it is simply a question to stir up discussion. So? Any ideas?

etcetera

So I saw In Bruges with Reuben on sunday, and without question, it was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The thing is, this type of humour is likely to last even after subsequent viewings. I'd say it's a must-see for anyone with even a semblance of a sense of humour. 4.5/5 stars.

Being so impressed with In Bruges, I decided to check out six shooter, which is essentially a short film (though it's about 25 minutes long), which also happens to have the same director (Martin McDonagh). It's really well done, but genuinely depressing. I cant' say I loved it, but it wasn't a bad flick. It also stars Brendan Gleeson, who was in In Bruges as well. You guys might want to check it out.

That ends this post.

due to popular demand...

I will continue with yet another comic strip. This one was originally an idea by Roohbit; however, I made a few changes here and there and since SNOCAB never produced it, I sought no further than my own blog for its unveiling. This was a lot funnier before, but for some reason now it lacks a bit of oomph.
