Pan's labyrinth is a no-go :(
Unfortunately, it's only playing in 4 cities, and all of them are US-based. even when it does expand to a few more cities, none of them are in Canada, which is a real bloody shame. This is definitely a movie that I would've wanted to watch in theatres, but now I guess I can't. Real damn shame.

HEY! I was listening to The Zone 91.3 (a Victoria station), and apparently they're giving away tickets to see Pan's Labyrinth?? Check out their website man...
I can't find much info on any other release dates around Vancouver, but thought I might as well pass the news that it's at least had that special showing...

Isn't it going to be showing at 5th avenue theatre? I read something like that in the Georgia Straight.
hmm, I checked it out and apparently it's going to be showing on January 19th at the 5th avenue theatre, which is great.
