movie marathon? great success!
Well, today I spent basically the entire day hanging out with Mohsin on his endeavours and then ensued, a movie marathon.
Our original plan was to watch 300, followed by blades of glory via sneaking in. 300 wasn't playing, so we decided to pay for blades of glory, and then sneak into fracture playing 2 minutes subsequent to the finish time of the former. What we ended up doing, however, was watch a 3rd movie, "hot fuzz", which was unexpected, and ended up leaving the theatre after midnight.
Firstly, Blades of Glory was hilarious. I doubt that it's everyone's type of movie, and despite several cheap laughs, it was well timed and hilarious. Thumbs up!
Fracture was really good. It had some quintessentially slow moments, but was more than welcome by the end of it. Anthony Hopkins alone was worth the admission price (if we had paid for it directly ;) ). Thumbs up!
Hot fuzz was freakin' awesome. That is truly one of the best fucking comedies I've seen in a while. But for a comedy, it was unusually dark and grim. I guess that just added to the absurdity and twists in the movie, which, immersed with non-stop satire and expert comedic timing, made it fucking great. Thumbs way the fuck up!
That ends this post.

Comments:
dude, hot fuzz could very well be the funniest movie YOU've ever seen. If there's one movie that you need to see, it's hot fuzz.

Damn fucking right! To all of those who don't know: Victoria Alexander is the no.1 bitch reviewer on rottentomatoes.com. once RT permitted commenting on her goddamn reviews, I lambasted her for the whore that she is. And now everyone is following suit. Fucking cunt-faced, no-nothing twat. That's right, bitches!
