I haven't blogged in nearly a month and I guess that's primarily because I didn't have much to blog about. In any case, I don't think many people read blogs these days, so it's not like they'd be missing it much anyways. That being said, I feel like blogging and without further ado, I shall.
On Sunday, "movie marathon 2" entailed. Apologies to those that I didn't call. It was initially supposed to be me and Mohsin, since it was in Surrey and I knew you richmond junkies would've had a hard time getting here by 12 pm, so I didn't bother calling anyone; however, I was able to coax Reuben along at the last minute, so it ended up being just us three brown guys in Brown Town.
The movies we watched were as follows:
1. Ratatouille: This was absolutely brilliant in almost every aspect. I have enjoyed many awesome 3D animated movies, but pixar really hit the nail on the head--once again. The animation was, yet again, first-rate, and I was a bit surprised at the level of depth that the movie had. It was very profound and avoided most cliches. It was simply BRILLIANT! 4/4 stars.
2. Simpson's movie: After Ratatouille, nothing was going to be as entertaining or worthy of my time, but I still managed to enjoy it. It was a classic blend between the simpson's of the old and the new. I managed to find a lot of it hilarious. My favourite line from the movie (not verbatim) was when the Rainier Wolfcastle (the simpson's schwarzenegger) looks at the mutant squirrel and utters an absolutely golden line. I won't ruin it for those that havent' seen it. 3/4 stars.
3. The Bourne Ultimatum: The first two in the series kicked ass, so this wasn't going to be any different. The movie packed a serious punch and hauled ass in every which way. I was hoping the resulting cause would've been more stirring, but never the less, it was engaging in almost every way. My only real disappointment was the use of the "shaky cam", which clearly was implemented for the "realism" effect, but it was pretty irritating in the beginning. I got used to it by the end, so I guess it really doesn't matter. 3.5/4 stars.
There's more to say, but meh.

Comments:
I think people do still read blogs. They just don't necessarily comment on them as much.
I still read blogs. Just sayin'.
