I think I am turning Japanese!
no, actually I am not. But I have started trying to learn Japanese through a site online. I've learned a few bits since then and my pronunciation thus far is top notch, I think. Though usually when pronouncing in different languages, I am very good, so I am not surprised. You may find that statement cocky, but that's only because you're white.

Nah, this is her second term taking it at UBC. She can speak and write okay, but I wouldn't be able to tell either way. I've never learned a character-based language so I tend to get over-impressed.
Once my exams are over, i think I am going to make a serious effort in trying to learn Japanese.
for now, a few words here and there should suffice.
Also once we get a point where we only suck a little bit,(as opposed to the0 massive amounts of sucking we do now) we should do some language exchange.
