On an aside: MUSE!!!
I didn't know what to think of their latest album, but I've been listening to it more and more, and boy has it grown on me. If you haven't listened to it yet, please do. I wish I could embed(?) songs on my blog but I lack the know-how and, naturally, I am too lazy to figure it out.
I want to really enjoy the winter break but everyone seems to be doing their own thing. Which is fine, but it would be nice to get together and just forget about life's responsibilities.
I went out last night with a bunch of my co-workers/friends after a long while. I had an absolute blast. The thing is, however, when you're with a rather large group (say 8-10 people or more), it's very difficult to keep a conversation going that includes everyone. So what ends up happening is the group usually breaks down into 2-3 smaller groups and you can't really mingle with everyone as effectively. It works out really well if the group that you're with is the best one out of the lot. Also, it helps if you know everyone so that you don't get excluded because you ended up with the one group that doesn't know you at all. I know, I've been there and it's not very much fun when that happens. But when you're somewhat the center of attention regardless of which group you're in, it's a fucking blast. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. And it doesn't bother me that I dropped 70 bucks on alcohol either.
On an aside, Hoegaarden (sp?) is a fantastic beer. Everyone should try it at least once even if they're not a big fan of beer.
It feels rather nice to be blogging after a while. January is going to be a very busy month for me. I am sure I'll have lots of boring shit to talk about once it rolls around.
