Woo, for the holiday spirit.

Naturally I am being facetious about "spirit"; however, I am thoroughly enjoying this winter break away from school and other responsibilities. I've been going out pretty much every day with a different set of friends each night and I have yet to not enjoy a single one of those nights. I've still got plenty of people to catch up with over the next couple of weeks and I intend to make the most of that time before next semester begins.

So I've emailed my education advisor and I am officially eligible to apply for the PDP program for the september '10 intake. While I was sure that was going to be the case, it's good to know officially that it is, indeed, the case. I have to get my application in by mid January, so I'll probably spend some time on that this winter break.

Other than that, not much else to say except that every day I learn something new. It takes me a while to figure out what that is on any particular day, but rest assured, I always feel slightly different about even the simplest facet of my life as each day goes by.

A friend of mine lost a friend in Afghanistan today, and while I never supported the "war", I do know what it is like to lose a friend. It's not easy and it's always somewhat shocking because of its infrequent occurrance in life.

Anyways, that's all I really wanted to say.

That ends this post.
